I am a native Texan, attended Providence High School, earned a B.S. degree in Science Education from the University of Houston, and am TEA certified in both Chemistry and Composite Science (Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science and Biology.)  

I earned a Masters degree in Allied Health Teacher Education and Administrative Leadership from the University of Houston and Baylor College of Medicine.  I have worked as an Instructional Design Specialist at the University of Texas Health Science Center and the University of Kentucky Medical School; Chief Administrator of the Southwest Oncology Group; Training Specialist for the U.S. District Clerk, Western District of Texas; and as the Associate Director of Education and Prevention at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center. This is my 7th year at SPS.
