Patricia Mullen-Cross
This is my 29th year as a part of St. Peter's Community. This has allowed me the opportunity to see students come back with their children. I am sort of a native Texan-I was born in Chicago Illinois.
I am Microsoft certified in Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, Level 2 certified in Religious Studies and am degreed in Computer Applications as well as Theology. I have enjoyed working with both the Archdiocese and the state of Texas on Technology Curriculum.
I see myself first as a Catholic Educator then as a subject area teacher Having a hand in building our children's understanding of faith is a really awesome responsibility. It is also very important, to me, that the computer be seen as a tool much like a pencil. It is amazing how technology has changed over the years. When I first began teaching, the idea was to teach our students everything they needed to know about the computer (this was when Bill Gates declared that computers would never have more than 64 bytes of memory.) I have enjoyed learning as computers have evolved and being able to share this knowledge with my students.
My two children are graduates of St. Peter's School. Sarah (class of '87), and Joshua (class of '89) I am the very proud grandmother of daughter Sarah's two- MaryAnn-age 2, Meredith-born 07-25-06, and son Joshua's-Jason (SPS class of 2019) born September 19, 2006.
