Linda Loftin has been teaching 4th through 8th grade Spanish at St. Peter's for the past two years. She and her husband, Craig moved to San Antonio from New York City where they both worked for UNICEF global education projects. While her husband worked with UNICEF Nicaragua from 1989-2000, Linda directed a small K-12 Catholic School in Managua. Later, when Craig transferred to UNICEF Brazil, Linda was the principal for all English programs at the School of the Nations in Brasilia. Linda has taught in elementary, special education and high schools in Iowa, Wisconsin, Utah, Wyoming, Florida, and Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and English Literature from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa and an M.Ed in Education from the University of Washington/Seattle. In addition to her native English, she speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Linda and Craig's daughter, Kara, is completing her residency in pediatrics in Portland, Oregon and their son, Adam is a development associate with SHVO developers in New York City.
