Hello! My name is Julia Leisk.  I am the new K-4 teacher.  While this will be my first year as a teacher at St. Peter’s, I have been part of the St. Peter’s family for several years now. My daughter, Kennice, is in Mrs. Duarte’s 2nd grade class this year and my daughter, Kyleigh, is in Mrs. Lugo’s K-4 class.  I also have twin boys, Alexander and Andrew, who will begin K-3 at St. Peter’s next year.  I graduated from UT Austin (GO LONGHORNS!) with a BA in Political Science in 1993 and went on to attend and graduate from UT Law School in 1998.  As a licensed attorney I practiced law until I came to the realization that my calling was to be a teacher.  I am currently working towards my Texas teaching certification.  My husband, Scott, is also a graduate of UT Austin and is a Network Security Engineer working at Fort Sam Houston.  I am honored to be part of such a caring community and I hope to make this a memorable and exciting year.
